a. INTRODUCTION
- Thank you for downloading my Baldur's Amp skin, the first skin I've worked on so far. The skin was inspired by the hit CRPG, Baldur's Gate, and it's look is reminiscent of the Baldur's Gate game interface.
- This skin should be used with WinAmp 2.23 or higher, with 16-bit color depth or better for best results.
- Paint Shop Pro (http://www.jasc.com) and MicroAngelo 98 (http://www.impactsoft.com) were used to develop Baldur's Amp.
- Enjoy the skin!
b. INSTALLATION
- Using Winzip or any other UNZIP program, extract all files into the Skins folder (e.g. C:Program FilesWinampSkinsBaldur v1.0). Then return to WinAmp and press Alt-S to select the skin to use.
OR
- If you are using a more recent version of Winamp, you can just copy the BALDRAMP.ZIP file into the Skins folder. Then return to WinAmp and press Alt-S to select the skin to use.
c. FEATURES
- Player, Equalizer, and Browser has a similar look and feel with the BG game interface.
- Playlist has a "parchment" look a la the journal screen in BG.
- Mouse cursors are also similar to those in BG.
