A long time has passed since I made the 2.5 version. Then I thought it was finished and great and everything, but later on, as I watched it more, it became apparent it was still far from finished. Some bugs became apparent, and I realized I haven't cleared all skinner stuff. I didn't do a single skin in a while and I really couldn't have been bothered to fix those things. I saw that db was making that remix contest and I said (I was almost joking) that everyone who wants to can remix it. flatmatt said he would and he made this great remix.
Thanx to everyone who ever commented on this skin, and special thanx to flatmatt for remixing it :).
It was originally made in Winamp skinner and finished in MS Paint :).
If you rip this skin (the original or this remix) I'm gonna cut your balls, and feed 'em to my dog, yeah. And being a pretty influential person on winamp.com (being a reviewer and all), I'll see that you never publish another skin there....

Wow, what a cool contest. To remix a skin. I started by cleaning it up a bit (the original version had some weird [for a bitmap] JPEG-style artifacts). But I couldn't come up with much to make it stand out from Doggy Dog's version. Then it hit me: Strong Bad looked rather like that red and black circle. Well, just a little. Kinda like an orange looks like a pumpkin. Except less so.
Anywho, I climbed aboard the U.S.S. Homestarrunner.com and cruised to what you see now. Also added windows for Winamp 2.9, i.e. video and generic frame. Since I don't use any of the plugins Doggy Dog had skinned other than the always-excellent MikroAMP, I chose to leave them out of the skin. The originals wouldn't have really matched, and I wouldn't want to skin anything without seeing how it looks. Except the old AVS.bmp which is included for you backwards non-Winamp 2.9 users. Don't blame me if it doesn't look very good. Blame the Poopsmith.
Oh, and I remixed one of the presets that Doggy Dog included--just open the skin file with WinZip or whatever and extract "Extravagant (flatmatt's Holy Crap! remix).avs" to your AVS directory to watch it. Be sure to check out the comment in the preset.
