"What springs from earth dissolves to earth
again, and heaven-born things fly to their
native seat." - Marcus Aurelius
Hello. This is my first skin, and took about two
weeks of intermittent, college-wedged work to
create. I pretty much made it up as I went along
going from a simple "gold, turquoise, weathered"
theme. The basic idea for the skin was just to
create a personal Winamp interface for myself,
but it came out really well, so I decided to try
uploading it.
I made it using Paint Shop Pro 7. It's from
scratch, and was made listening mostly to
Motown and Classical. Parts of the skin are not
perfect, but I've done my best to make it a
decent one. I hope someone likes it as I do. If
you have any comments, feel free to let me
know. Thanks!
= Trivia =
Just for a little trivial information, the skin is
named for Arsinoe, a woman from Greek
mythology who said to be the wet nurse of
Orestes. It is also a name for several of the
Ptolemaic Queens of Egypt.
