Why I made this skin?
*** I made this skin in three long afternoons when my girlfriend was out of town and so we couldn't ... talk. (What else do you do with your GF when you live in India and you're 17?) I was so bored that I decided to make a winamp skin and post it and see what kind of reviews I get, or if it even gets accepted.
Why I made it this way?
*** One reason is that I like the colour (that's how we spell it here) brown (it's right up there after blue, white, red, yellow and all the rest). Another reason is that I was fooling around with nice pictures and I liked this effect. The third reason is that I found it difficult to make it any another way.
How I made this skin?
*** I used Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and my imagination.
Special thanks to Jellby for making his Skinner's Atlas which was a HUGE help.
Andrew Mackowski's Winamp Vis Toolkit was also helpful, not only in the Visualisation, but also in the Playlist.
Who I made this skin for?
*** I made this skin for all those people who still like to use Winamp 2.x even though Winamp3 is here.
Also, I mailed this to my girlfriend and she says she likes it, so it's for her too. She's *not* the plain chick I'm referring to in the name.
Who am I?
*** I am a simple high school student in India who lives a secret existence as Spiderman's representative to the commonwealth and I'm also a famous casanova if you ask any woman and every night I make new winamp skins to conquer the world but so far I haven't succeeded and I'm thinking of shifting to peddling wallets with bombs in them. Ha, Ha, Ha!!!
Just don't tell my parents all this. They'll kick me out of the house.
Funny things about this skin:
*** The winshade mode of this skin is only functional. I recommend you don't use it, or I will invoke all the forces of heaven and hell to incinerate you.
And that's the only funny thing about the skin because I didn't want to make this skin hilarious.
I might make another version of this skin with cursors. But I haven't yet mastered the art of making cursors.
