An Amp dedicated to the biggest selling home computer of the 80's the ZX Spectrum, or TS2068 for our American friends. The 48k Spectrum was the first computer I ever owned. An amazing piece of kit at the time and I spend countless days alone with it, quite sad really looking back now.
It was more than just a computer though. It was a way of life, and for those very cold nights, the transformer made a very good foot warmer.
As machines go, this was a PC beater on all counts, it didn't need resetting every 5 minutes, plug and play actually worked, it wasn't out of date the second after you bought it, it is Y2K compatible, wasn't "Intel inside" and definitely didn't owe anything to a gentleman called "Bill"
It also taught me all about file sharing, all you fellow Spectrum owners out there will know what I mean ;-)
