This WinAmp skin is a modification of the SONY MP-FX3 skin,
originally created by Obi McNally (info-is@in-file).

Reason:

I wanted a Sony Amp Skin that resembled my old Sony CD Player,
with flouresecent display. I modified the skin to show the
old display, as well as giving some "life" (& lights!) to
all the buttons and sliders. I also added the AVS window
to complete the skin.

SONY MP-FX3 v2.1 winamp skin for Winamp 2.24 by Obi McNally

-= INSTALLATION =-
The zip file should have 20 files in it including this one.
Unzip all the files into ur /winamp/skins directory (it will create a
sub-dir called SONY MP-FX3) and in winamp hit alt-s, choose sony
mp-fx3 and off u go. To use it properly so that it dont look shit,
config ur vis like it is described below.

This is the 11th official type release of the sony skin
that i been werking on and continuously updating since i ever heard
of skins. other times i changed it i just did it w/o zipping it up
and distributing and i finally decided to do something bout it -
might actually prove to be popular ;) It's the 1st skin i started
making the EQ and PL skins for.
The displays are green, like backlit type green. i hope
it dont disturb anyone cos its too bright, the only other colour i'd
make it is blue.
It's made to look neat and tidy, none of this out of alignment
bullshit, if u find any glitches or problems or if u have
any suggestions let me know and if i agree wif ya i'll change it :]

- 4 windows, all sony style, no winamp default ugly graphics ;]
- SONY MP-FX3 Main window
- SONY MP-EQ3 Graphic Equaliser
- SONY MP-PL3 Playlist Editor
- SONY MP-MB3 Minibrowser
- All windowshade modes, fully functional
- All buttons have depression stages
- Backgrounds of skin graphics are yellow to make for easier
editing (not that u need to edit it :])
- Customised font and vis, best ever :]
- Realistic LED time display
- Metallic buttons
- Like 99% orignal content, the only thing i didnt make was the sony
logo which is from the Sony 4000 skin

(earlier changes at the bottom, new stuff at the top)
- Fiddled with the "Power" indicator, its now the O with the I through the top
- I have fully renovated it, better display, better buttons, better
LCD time, better everything, too much in fact to list one by one
if u have seen previous versions, u will notice the differences
- If you have winamp 2.00, u will be able to see my bitmap font in the
playlist editor. i would like to see the option to do this in
current or future versions of winamp as i reckon my bitmap font
looks way better than any small windows font. pledit is of course
the playlist font, and the skin works fine without it.
- Made the position bar indicator in the main windowshade mode a
metallic button
- Fixed a lot of the frames so they looked lit up from the top left
in a smoother type of way
- Edited the viscolor.txt and made it look neater
- The volume slider control had a makeover, now acts like the graphic
equaliser with the elevator effect thingie
- Killed the colourful viscolor, back to the original cos the colourful
one didnt go down too well with the windowshade mode
- Changes to heaps of buttons, found that the playlist can play by it-
self, has a working vu meter and to kill the main window hit alt-w
and make sure the playlist editor is wide enough to see the vu bit
- I discovered that the EQ window had a windowshade mode so i made that
- There is now a minibrowser skin, looks just like everything else
buttons et al
- Did shitloads of modifications
- Changed playlist button thingies
- Fixed the width of some buttons
- Added some lil self gratuitous plugs here n there hehe
- Spiffed up some window frames
- Changed windowshade vis frame
- Removed border around clutterbar, changed the symbols and stuff
- Added the stationary seek bar in the main window - forgot to put it
back when i updated b4
- Changed the balance bar colour
- Changed the main window display to accommodate for the change in vis
- Removed "groove" and replaced with "mega bass"
- Modified the EQ window with mega bass and treble
- Redid the vis colours - no longer LED background, now all black b/g
- Fixed a few windows in the windowshade titlebar
- New model font...looks curvier..better
- Again used different font
- Updated the control bars...mainly the EQ bars now have this elevator
type effect...took some time to perfect
Added some borders round borderless buttons
- NEW vis colours, (old one still included as viscolor2.txt)
this is sic, looks like white LED's lighting up in different colours
and going up n down, but u must change ur vis settings like so:-
(These settings done by right clicking the bit under the time, the
spikey stuff, or vis)
- Visulisation mode should be *Analyzer*
- Analyzation mode should be *Normal* using *Bars* and peaks if u
want
- Windowshade VU should be *Smooth*
- Refresh Rate *Full*
- Analyzer Falloff *Faster*
- Peaks Falloff, whatever u want
Most of these dont really matter, they're my settings anyhow, but if
u want it to look good u MUST choose the ANALYZER in NORMAL mode
using BARS - any other combination will look crap :]
- Redone buttons - differnt backgrounds and now shiney silver
ones hehe
- Minor glitch repairs
- Resizing of sliding button rails
- Different font in pls
- Resized Sony logos

so far i only managed to get my skin onto 1001winampskins.com,
i dunno bout winamp.com they never seem to update.
there have been around 20000 d/l's of my skin during the several months
it's been up, which it pretty good, its ranked 38th in d/l's and its on
3 stars (although it was at 4, till some shits at school decided to vote
it 1 about 100 times) which i am happy with. to find it goto
brand name skins and browse though em till u see v1.8 or 2.1
