This is my second skin so far... It's a tribute to the argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges; the picture is a collage I made with some magazine cuttings and printed lines from some of his poems, and it's somehow the representation of my feelings about the poems (I put it into the anime category because of the style of the drawing). I also chose some specific lines to highlight them on the skin; those are the ones located at the lower part of the equalizer and the playlist, the equalizer bars and the main titlebar in skincheat mode. So, the skin is mainly based on those lines and the poems they're taken from (specially The Art Of Poetry), which you'll find in this readme file (only one in english, the rest of them are in spanish).
I really liked how the skin turned out, and I decided to publish it hoping someone will like it as well. Any comments are welcome.
Note: I've included in this archive the font I used for this skin, so you can install it on your pc if you want.

* I started to make skins for the sole purpose of having fun and to give some meaning to the endless hours of spare time I have right now. As they seem to take a lot of that time, I have just made a few, but I've put into each one of them a lot of effort and meaning. So, if you wish to check out my skins, you can do it by searching for my user name: ana thema, at winamp.com. *

Poems by Jorge Luis Borges

The Art Of Poetry
To gaze at a river made of time and water
And remember Time is another river.
To know we stray like a river
and our faces vanish like water.
To feel that waking is another dream
that dreams of not dreaming and that the death
we fear in our bones is the death
that every night we call a dream.
To see in every day and year a symbol
of all the days of man and his years,
and convert the outrage of the years
into a music, a sound, and a symbol.
To see in death a dream, in the sunset
a golden sadness -- such is poetry,
humble and immortal, poetry,
returning, like dawn and the sunset.
Sometimes at evening there's a face
that sees us from the deeps of a mirror.
Art must be that sort of mirror,
disclosing to each of us his face.
They say Ulysses, wearied of wonders,
wept with love on seeing Ithaca,
humble and green. Art is that Ithaca,
a green eternity, not wonders.
Art is endless like a river flowing,
passing, yet remaining, a mirror to the same
inconstant Heraclitus, who is the same
and yet another, like the river flowing.

Mi Vida Entera
Aqui otra vez, los labios memorables, unico y
semejante a vosotros.
He atravesado el mar.
He conocido muchas tierras; he visto una mujer
He paladeado numerosas palabras.

generativo, insomnes y fatales.
Prolonga este vano mundo incierto
en su vertiginosa telaraña;
y vanidad. Por eso no alarman.
