This is my first skin. It was constructed while listening to a reading of Arthur C. Clarke's "2001: A Space Odyssey" and remembering the wonderful equipment designed for the film version. I had a fine time designing the various buttons and sliders with their odd actions, especially the crawly little volume slider.
My design philosophy includes the guideline that simplicity counts, and if there is complexity it should be A: useful, and
B: not immediately apparent,
or, failing those, C: interestingly ridiculous.
My next skin will likely explore transparency to a much greater extent. See you soon!
