Well, I thought Edo would end up
being my last culture themed skin
before winamp 3; But as fate would
have it, it wasn't- as winamp 3 is
now still being straigtened out.
So I once again return to
cultural skinning.
I proudly Present: MAHARAJAH- a
lavish, rich, sensual celebration of
the traditions of Indian and hindi
artwork. (with a little British Raj
style as well)
I spent countless hours drawing the
intricate scrollwork, pixel by pixel;
taken together, the whole piece is
nearly overwhelming in color, stimulation,
and exhuberance. (which is what i was
aiming for) I hope you enjoy it, and
maybe even take the time to examine the
fine details of it.
This skin was inspired, interestingly,
by the Movie "Moulin Rouge" - or rather,
the final scene of it- a hindu paradise
scene of amazing detail and color.
I hoped to capture a bit of that in this
skin.
